COLLECTION FOR SALE PORSCHE 911

ABOUT THIS CLASSIC

This is not just another Porsche. This 1965 “Restomod” represents vision, craftsmanship, and passion – the kind of car that helped define an entire movement. Subtle on the surface, radical in its execution, it embodies the philosophy that would later become synonymous with the R-Gruppe spirit: lightweight, purposeful, and built to be driven.

On the outside, it presents itself as a pristine Porsche 911 in classic Light Ivory, adorned with early golden decals and all the correct period details. Only the 16-inch aluminum racing wheels betray the true character of this machine – a subtle hint that beneath the elegant skin lies something far more purposeful.

The project began with one of the very earliest surviving 912s – chosen not only for its rust-free condition but also for its lightweight body and desirable early features such as the four-screw horn grilles and ’64-type window frames. From there, it underwent a complete nut-and-bolt restoration, stripped to its very core and rebuilt to perfection. Every single component was restored, renewed, or upgraded with a clear purpose: to merge Porsche heritage with uncompromising performance.
Beneath its elegant exterior lies a thoroughly re-engineered machine. The suspension was upgraded with KONI components and stabilizer bars for razor-sharp handling. Braking comes courtesy of hydraulically operated discs – ventilated at the front, solid at the rear – fitted with vintage-spec Brembo calipers of the type Ferrari used in period. The electrical system was converted to a modern 12-volt installation, including a period-correct radio and a reworked harness to support the uprated powertrain.

At its core beats a true Porsche soul: a 3.0-liter flat-six from a 911 SC, running Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and paired to a 1968 911S dogleg gearbox. With 132 kW on tap, it transforms the car into a true sleeper – modest in appearance, ferocious in spirit.

The exterior carries its striking Light Ivory and gold detailing with understated confidence. Inside, the cabin balances period-correct sportiness with timeless elegance. A beautiful wooden steering wheel and matching wooden interior trim set the tone, while the original black leather provides an authentic foundation. Period-correct Recaro racing seats with pepita inserts and an “Autoflug” racing harness complete the package – details that speak directly to Porsche’s motorsport DNA.

Turn the key and the flat-six fires to life with raw energy. From that moment, it’s not simply a car you drive – it’s a car you experience. Every gear change, every corner, every echo of the exhaust reminds you this Porsche was built to be alive.

Early rust-free 912 shells are rare. A restomod executed at this level – with a genuine nut-and-bolt restoration, authentic period details, a true Porsche flat-six heart, and such faithful attention to the driver’s connection – is rarer still. It is a car to drive, to cherish, and to keep.

A Porsche with a story, a philosophy, and a future.
